Lamar
Dodd School of Art uses Student Technology Fee funds to support
instructional computing labs for the programs in Digital Media,
Graphic Design and Photography.
One
special project in the school is the creation of an image database
for art history studies. 10,000 slides are currently being converted
for digital delivery to professors for use in their classrooms.
This has entailed software development, deployment of server technology,
and the individual digitizing of thousands of images.
